get を使った句動詞
get には非常に多くの句動詞がありますが、前置詞の意味を考えることでその意味がつかみやすくなることがあります。
「なんとかやっていく、うまくいく」などの意味があります。
I couldn't get along with that stubborn boss.
「あの頑固な上司とはうまくやっていけなかった。」
「逃げる、免れる」などの意味があります。
How did the suspect get away from the the detention house?
「その容疑者はどうやってその拘置所から逃げたのですか。」
「（障害物や困難を）乗り越える、乗り切る」などの意味があります。
